Seattle 11-5 Win Hard-Earned
The Seattle Sting needed 11 innings to defeat the Pittsburgh Ironmen, 11-5, at PNC Park. Seattle designated hitter Pete Alonso had a superb performance. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win elevated the Sting to 27-21.

Seattle needed the clutch hitting of Junior Caminero to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Sting on top, 8-5. For the game, Caminero had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Alonso. "It sure beats the alternative."
