Hitmen Pull Out Late Win, 8-7
The Washington Hitmen downed the Denver Bears, 8-7, in 10 innings. Masataka Yoshida led the way, going 3-for-5 for Washington. Washington is now 21-28. Denver is 23-26.

The decisive blow was delivered by William Contreras in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 31-year old left-handed pitcher A.J. Puk to win the game for Washington. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd was raucous," said Contreras.
