For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Bombers earned a hard-fought, 4-3 win in 10 innings at Magnum Stadium. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Phoenix pitcher Ryan Pepiot. Pepiot went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Shelby Miller was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-4. The losing pitcher was Ryan Bergert.

The Bombers got a clutch hit from right fielder Yainer Diaz. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bombers.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Diaz said.

Bronx is now 26-24, Phoenix 24-26.
