Jaguars Absorb 5-3 Loss at Petco Park
San Diego third baseman Kazuma Okamoto helped his team beat the Portland Jaguars, 5-3. Okamoto went 3 for 3 for the Snakeyes. Josh White earned the save, his 3rd, for the Snakeyes. The Jaguars have now dropped 5 straight.

San Diego took a 5-3 lead on Okamoto's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Bryan Hoeing in the bottom of the seventh, propelled San Diego to the win.

San Diego manager Kelly Woolsey said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
