Orlando Arcia was a vital contributor to the 7-5 Bronx victory over Phoenix. The Bombers shortstop went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Bronx reliever Marc Church, now 1-1. The loser was Reid Detmers. Shelby Miller was credited with the save for Bronx, his 9th of the season.

Arcia had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-2 fastball from Reid Detmers, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Bombers a 5-4 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Arcia.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Arcia, "one at-bat at a time."

With the win, Bronx pushed its record to 27-24.
