In a low-scoring contest, Boston pitcher Drew Rasmussen was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. Boston reliever Kyle Harrison picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Jeff Hoffman absorbed the loss. Jose Alvarado was credited with the save for Boston, his 9th of the season.

Boston used the timely hitting of Tommy Edman to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Minutemen on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Edman said.

Today's win puts Boston at 24-30, while Minnesota falls to 31-23.
