Bears Rally to Eke Out Win
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Matt Vierling, the Denver Bears defeated the Carolina Riptides, 6-5. Vierling was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Bears. Reliever A.J. Puk picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. Peter Fairbanks took the loss. Denver is now 27-29, Carolina 30-26.

The Bears got a clutch hit from second baseman Isiah Kiner-Falefa. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Bears.

"This joint was rocking," said Kiner-Falefa.
