Wildcats Earn Win with Late Rally
Baltimore beat Tampa Bay at Toyota Field, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to third baseman CJ Alexander. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Baltimore reliever Drey Jameson picked up the win, while Matt Strahm took the loss for Tampa Bay. By defeating Tampa Bay, the 4th-place Wildcats improved to 25-33.

Baltimore took a 6-5 lead on JJ Bleday's 5th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Bleday hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Tampa Bay pitcher Matt Strahm visibly frustrated.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Alexander told the Baltimore News.
