Raleigh Delivers Walk-Off Win for Diamonds
The Anaheim Diamonds defeated the New York Sharks by the score of 8-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Ian Happ. Happ was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Diamonds on the day. Anaheim pitcher David Bednar got the win. He's now 2-0. Cody Laweryson was tagged with the loss. Anaheim got a knockout punch from Cal Raleigh. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
