Fans who congregated at Fan's Ballyard were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Bronx Bombers faced a tough opponent in Oakland pitcher Nathan Eovaldi, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Fan's Ballyard by a final score of 8-6. Eovaldi went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Seth Johnson zipped up his 1st save.

Bronx used the timely hitting of Orlando Arcia to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Bombers on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like the roll we're on," said Bronx manager Scott Gessford.

The Bombers have now won 5 straight.
