The Carolina Riptides used an offensive barrage to beat the San Diego Snakeyes, 15-1, at IBM Field. Myles Straw, who finished 4th in the UL in stolen bases with 25 in 2022, led the way, going 3-for-4 for Carolina. The first-place Riptides have won 4 in a row.

Early in the game, designated hitter Brenton Doyle had a 2-run home run for Carolina. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Riptides on top, 2-0.

"They took it to us," said San Diego manager Kelly Woolsey.
