The Anaheim Diamonds trumped the New York Sharks, 11-4, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Anaheim second baseman Brandon Lowe was terrific. He hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. The losses continue to mount for New York, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

With Anaheim leading 6-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Lowe hit a fastball from Cody Laweryson for a grand slam home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Diamonds ahead, 10-3.

"Bad luck's the only luck we've had," said New York manager Nick Ruport.
