Dominant Performance by Skubal in Carolina Win
|
Getting an impressive start from Tarik Skubal, Carolina beat Cincinnati by the score of 4-1. Peter Fairbanks notched his 12th save in 16 chances. The win gives Carolina a season record of 35-26.
Cincinnati could barely put a dent in Skubal. The left-hander tossed 116 pitches over 8 innings for the Riptides, allowing only 5 hits.
