The Montreal PoorBoys picked up a win at Big Donut Stadium, downing the Georgia Bulldogs, 6-4. On the mound for Montreal was right-hander Jack Flaherty, who played a pivotal role in the win. Montreal reliever Carlos Estevez was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Hayden Wesneski took the loss. Felix Bautista was called on to finish, recording his 11th save.

Jo Adell had a big 2-run double for the PoorBoys in the bottom of the third inning. With Montreal leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from Clarke Schmidt, who finished 2nd in the FL in ERA with 3.17 last year, and swatted a double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the PoorBoys ahead, 4-1.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Flaherty told the Montreal News. "It's as simple as that."

The win has Montreal at 23-39.
