Alejandro Kirk knocked in 3 runs to help Carolina beat Cincinnati, 8-6, in 21 innings. Kirk produced 3 singles and 1 home run. The win belonged to Kyle Bradish in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Aaron Ashby took the loss for Cincinnati. The winning streak has now reached 7 games for the Riptides.

Carolina got a knockout punch from Matt Shaw. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 21st inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
