Clay Holmes propelled his team to victory over the Denver Bears. The final score was 5-3, Detroit. Detroit pitcher Andrew Saalfrank earned the win, hiking his record to 3-3. Brayan Bello suffered the loss. Devin Williams was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 31 of 32 save opportunities.

The Demons got a big at-bat from designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton. For the game, Stanton went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
