Hitmen Get Hard-Earned Win
The timely hitting of Bo Bichette helped the Washington Hitmen take down the Philadelphia Phalanx, 7-6, in 10 innings. Bichette went 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Hitmen. Hogan Harris was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-8. The losing pitcher was David Robertson. Adrian Morejon got the save, his 23rd in 27 chances.

Washington used a timely hit from John Peck to get the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Hitmen ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We scored enough runs to win," said Bichette.

The Hitmen now have a record of 61-67 with the win over Philadelphia.
