Toronto and Washington duked it out and the Hogs came out victorious.

Toronto pitcher Nick Lodolo did his part in helping his team defeat the Washington Hitmen, 3-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. A.J. Puk earned his 2nd save in 2 chances.

Toronto used the timely hitting of Michael Harris II to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Hogs on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

Harris II called the win "a lesson in teamwork."

With the win, Toronto raised its record to 70-61.
