Minnesota registered a win at Big Donut Stadium by beating the Montreal PoorBoys, 5-3. Pitcher Reynaldo Lopez was one reason why the Millers triumphed. Minnesota is now 20-18, while Montreal is 15-23.

Minnesota won the game in part because of Seiya Suzuki. The right fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Millers ahead, 1-0. For the game, Suzuki had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

Lopez attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
