Judge Good, But Not Good Enough, in 6-5 Loss
Tampa Bay right fielder Aaron Judge had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Judge belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice, even as Bronx beat the Bandits, 6-5. Tanner Bibee was the winner. He's now 5-0. The loser was 27-year old left-handed pitcher MacKenzie Gore. Shelby Miller earned save number 6 this season.

Bronx won the game in part because of Jose Altuve. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Bombers ahead, 4-2. For the game, Altuve had 2 doubles and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Altuve.

With the win, Bronx pushed its record to 21-17.
