Snakeyes Urias Smacks 5 Hits
|
It was a parade of hits for Ramon Urias of the San Diego Snakeyes at Pac Bell Park.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Urias finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Snakeyes to a win, 11-7.
"Urias was really good and we were really bad," groaned Dragons manager Joe Turnage. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Ramon Urias singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bryse Wilson in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
