The performance of Amed Rosario proved critical in helping Pittsburgh beat Detroit, 5-3. The Ironmen right fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Andres Munoz earned the save, his 9th, for the Ironmen. The triumph puts Pittsburgh at 22-18 for the season.

Pittsburgh used a timely hit from Nick Allen to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ironmen ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It was a good effort all around," said Rosario.
