Behind a fine performance from Griffin Conine, the Bronx Bombers knocked off the Denver Bears, 20-8. Conine went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4 for the Bombers. Bronx is now 24-19, Denver 20-23.

Bronx used the hitting of Aaron Schunk to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bombers on top, 20-4. For the game, Schunk had 1 home run and 1 single in 6 at-bats.

Bronx manager Scott Gessford was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
