Diamonds Take Tight Tangle
The Anaheim Diamonds beat the San Diego Snakeyes, 6-5, at Petco Park. Anaheim designated hitter Cal Raleigh had an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. Bryan Abreu earned the save, his 10th. Anaheim is now 19-25, San Diego 21-23.

Raleigh had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 fastball from Garrett Cleavinger, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Diamonds a 6-5 lead. It was the 21st home run of the year for Raleigh.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Raleigh.
