Bulldogs Score Late to Nip Hogs, 7-6

The Georgia Bulldogs, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Eddie Matthews Stadium.
The Toronto Hogs got a superb performance from shortstop Elly De La Cruz, but the Georgia Bulldogs still won the game, 7-6. De La Cruz went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win over Toronto, the Bulldogs improved to 20-23.
Ben Rice was the walk-off hero for Georgia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bulldogs catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Rice said.
