Denver Bears starter Brayan Bello turned in an exceptional performance against the Bronx Bombers at Coors Field, resulting in a Denver win, 13-1. Bello, the winner, moves to 4-4. He threw 8 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. Denver is now 22-23, Bronx 24-21.

James Outman had a big 2-run triple for the Bears in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Denver leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Jack Leiter, who is tied for 10th in the UL in wins with 4, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bears ahead, 4-0.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Bello.
