Montgomery Now 3-3 Following 3-1 Win

The Carolina Riptides got a magnificent effort from pitcher Jordan Montgomery, who kept New York hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Riptides win at Shark Stadium. Picking up the save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Mason Montgomery. Carolina has run its win streak to 8 consecutive.
Montgomery scattered 3 hits over 7.1 innings for the Riptides. With the win, Montgomery goes to 3-3 on the year with 51 strikeouts.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Montgomery told the Carolina Today.
