The Portland Jaguars beat the Texas Vipers, 10-4, at Chrysler Canyon. The win was due in part to third baseman Alex Bregman, who was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Portland now sits at 21-24, while Texas falls to 14-31.

Caleb Durbin had a big 2-run triple for the Jaguars in the bottom of the second inning. With Portland trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Yu Darvish, who led the FL in strikeouts with 327 in 2014, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jaguars ahead, 2-1.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Durbin said.
