Bradford Leads San Diego Past Washington
San Diego turned a good effort from starter Cody Bradford into a win over the Washington Hitmen at Petco Park. The Snakeyes won the game, 3-2. San Diego is 23-24 and Washington, with the loss, 20-27.

Bradford gave San Diego a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 6.1 innings.

"Cody pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said San Diego manager Kelly Woolsey.
