The Houston Titans faced a tough opponent in Chicago pitcher Cade Horton, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Baron's Ballyard by a final score of 6-4. Horton went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs. Dylan Floro picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Yuki Matsui suffered the loss. Orion Kerkering earned the save for Houston, his 11th of the year.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Logan Porter? The 30-year old catcher Porter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Houston up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Houston manager Stephen Strzepek.

Houston is 29-19 and Chicago, with the loss, 20-28.
