Monday, May 11th , 2026
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Pittsburgh's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. made it happen against the Roses. Everything came together at the plate for the 27-year-old first baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Ironmen triumph, 12-11, at PNC Park.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Guerrero Jr. said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
For the season, Guerrero Jr. is hitting at a .350 clip with 8 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 21 runs. He has 43 hits, 14 walks and a .424 on-base percentage.
