Guerrero Jr. Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, May 18th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Pittsburgh Ironmen. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .517, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Union League. Last week Guerrero Jr. went 15-for-29, racked up 1 home run and 6 RBIs and scored 9 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Pittsburgh first baseman. Guerrero Jr. is hitting .363 this season with 9 home runs, 29 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 53 hits in 146 at-bats. |
