FL Trophy Goes to Judge of Tampa Bay Monday, May 18th , 2026 Tampa Bay fans have something to crow about today as Tampa Bay right fielder Aaron Judge nabbed the Federal League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Judge. He posted a .483 average (14-for-29) this past week with 5 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 6 runs scored. So far this year in 37 games, Judge is hitting .310 with 16 home runs, 43 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
