Fernandez Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, May 13th , 2026 Jose Miguel Fernandez ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games at Tigers Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 5 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Oklahoma City Outlaws dropped the game, 12-11, to the Tallahassee Tigers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Fernandez said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Jose Miguel Fernandez struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Troy Melton in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, flied out in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.
