Austin's Avila Down with Injury Friday, May 15th , 2026 The season is finished for Pedro Avila of the Austin Bats. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Bats reliever suffered an arthritic elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Binghamton Bats. Team doctors said it would take at least 5-6 months to heal.
