INT Player of the Week Named Monday, May 18th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Nicky Lopez was in a class by himself in the International League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding second baseman for Providence tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 16 hits in 32 at-bats, 3 homers, 9 runs scored and 12 RBIs. To date, Lopez has collected 30 hits for a .441 average. He has posted 5 home runs, scored 16 runs and driven in 17 runs. |
