Heredia Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Niagara Falls Wednesday, August 26th , 2026 The 20-game hitting streak is over. Ottawa Lynx right fielder Raylin Heredia failed to get a hit against the Niagara Falls Rapids and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 22-year-old went 0-for-3 in his club's 13-6 victory over the Rapids at Lynx Ballpark. "I think I only made it to 20 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." So far this season, Heredia has put up a .353 batting average with 102 hits, 16 home runs and 54 RBIs. |
