Pulaski Takes Round 1
All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Pulaski Ironclads are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the New River Admirals are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently.

The Ironclads took a 17-7 victory at Ironclads Ballpark today, which gave Pulaski a 3-1 series win.

With the win, Pulaski will advance to play in the Round 2.

"We aren't ready to go home yet," said Ironclads center fielder Willy Fanas, who was named series MVP.

The Pulaski Ironclads don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Kingsport Arsenal - Cooperstown Cougars series. Cooperstown leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
