Year Ends for David Sandlin in Mexicali Saturday, August 29th , 2026 The season is finished for David Sandlin of the Mexicali Yavapais. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Yavapais reliever suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Berkeley Blaze. Team doctors said it would take at least 12 months to heal. Sandlin has taken the mound for 32 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 4-5 record with a 6.21 ERA. The Mexicali reliever has limited opposing batters to a .303 batting average. |
