Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Kessinger Wednesday, July 22nd , 2026 Grae Kessinger, shortstop for the London Wolverines, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 12-3 victory over the Trenton Thunder at Ballpark of Trenton. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Grae Kessinger singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, walked in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Kessinger's current batting average stands at .345 and he has chalked up 15 home runs and 68 RBIs. |
