Cox Strokes 5 Hits Friday, May 15th , 2026 At Bombers Stadium, Jonah Cox of the Birmingham Bombers put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and mauled the Havana Conquistadors pitching staff, but Birmingham still came up short on the scoreboard. The Bombers went home with the 11-10 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their center fielder. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Cox said in the postgame interview. Jonah Cox singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and flied out in the 11th.
