Rucker Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Sunday, May 24th , 2026 Jake Rucker, third baseman for the Havana Conquistadors, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 10-8 victory over the Jacksonville Jackals at Montgomery Grounds. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Jake Rucker grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. For the season, Rucker has hit .381 with 6 home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 40 games and scored 23 times. |
