Tornadoes End Rucker Streak Monday, May 25th , 2026 It was a doubly miserable day for Jake Rucker of the Havana Conquistadors, as he saw his 20-game hitting streak end and his team lose, 22-6, to the Moore Tornadoes at Jazz Ballpark. The 26-year-old third baseman was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Tornadoes. "Anyone on a 20-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Moore manager said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done." Thus far this year, Rucker has hit .373 with 6 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
