Conquistadors Pitching Ravaged by Rodriguez Monday, May 25th , 2026 Moore Tornadoes left fielder Hector Rodriguez had a day to remember at Jazz Ballpark, ripping apart the Havana Conquistadors and sparking the 22-6 Tornadoes win. Rodriguez wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Rodriguez told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Hector Rodriguez singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Noah Davis in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 6th.
