Doncon Smacks 3 Out of the Park Monday, August 24th , 2026 Rayne Doncon went yard three times in a Birmingham Bombers victory over the Havana Conquistadors at Bombers Stadium. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Birmingham third baseman went 3-for-4 against Havana with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Bombers to the 6-0 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Rayne Doncon struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Noah Davis in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Noah Davis in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Chad Kuhl in the 8th. For the year, Doncon is batting .296 with 13 home runs, 36 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
