Montes Goes Long 3 Times

Plano-Frisco Roughriders second baseman Coco Montes left the Fresno pitching staff in ruins at Roughriders Ballpark, beating the Grizzlies, 13-12, with a prodigious three-home run performance.
"The last one was totally unexpected," Montes told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three."
For the game, the Plano-Frisco second baseman had 4 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 7 and scored 3 runs.
Coco Montes grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Carson Montgomery in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Nick Mondak in the 7th, walked in a run in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Brandon Eisert in the 9th.
Currently Montes is batting .246 with 35 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 19 runs and scored 21 times.
