Super Swinger -- Petersen Slams 5 Hits Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Sam Petersen of the Rattlers was unstoppable in his team's 17-5 victory over the Tempe Titans at Titans Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Midland left fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Sam Petersen singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Alimber Santa in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
