Super Swinger -- Vidourek Slams 5 Hits

Landyn Vidourek told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."
Well, that's just what Vidourek of the Provo Peaks did against the San Mateo Bloom. He went to the plate 7 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 10-9.
"Not much I can say," offered Vidourek in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"
Landyn Vidourek doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Darren Bowen in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 10th and struck out in the 12th.
Vidourek is currently batting .320 with 9 home runs, 23 runs scored and 24 RBIs. His OBP is .417.
