Plant City Snaps Jordan Streak at 27
Sunday, May 17th , 2026
The Plant City Farmers did something to Levi Jordan no team had done for the last 27 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Catfish, who came away with the 2-1 victory at Catfish Ballpark.
"Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 30-year-old second baseman said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted."
Jordan is currently hitting at a .358 pace with 6 home runs and 20 RBIs. He has played in 28 games and scored 19 times.
