Bad News for Dunedin, Dalton Pence Hurt Wednesday, May 27th , 2026 The season is finished for Dalton Pence of the Dunedin Danger. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Danger starting pitcher suffered a ruptured disc while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Gainesville Gators. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal. To date this season, Pence has registered 10 starts, 2-2 won-lost mark, 5.55 ERA, 47 IP, 50 strikeouts and 26 walks. Opposing teams have hit .314 against him. |
